Nir Salomon (C.Hb) received his education in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Integrative medicine in Shanghai, Sichuan and Israel and has professional experience of over 12 years in practice, teaching and research in Integrative medicine.  He is the founder and director of the Integrative gastroenterology unit in Sheba medical center, Israel.  A renowned expert in Chinese herbal medicine, Nir has initiated innovative research projects investigating novel herbal compounds in the treatment of complex gastro-intestinal disease mainly inflammatory bowel diseases.  He has co-organized the National Chinese Medicine conference science symposium in 2014 and 2015 and has been an invited speaker in congresses in Israel, Europe and Shanghai and Hong Kong.  Nir has constructed research and academic collaborations with leading medical institutes and universities in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong to promote the integration of evidence-based herbal medicine into mainstream medicine in the West.
